When searching for a popular or country title or artist, use the quick search first. Be sure to click on the 'exact words' button for best results. Searching in the Browse feature is better for seeing what is available rather than hunting a specific work.

When looking for a piano method, it is best to enter the name of the series, such as "Basic Piano Library" for Alfred, or "Piano Adventures" for Faber & Faber in the Quick Search, using 'exact words'. This will give you a list of the available materials to scroll through.
When looking for a composition or method for any band or orchestra instrument it is best to use the Advanced Search. Click on Search on the left side of the home page below the Quick Search. Scroll to the bottom of the Advanced Search page to For Print Music only, search by ... Enter the title of the work and the instrument.
